Hi my name is Chase Hungerford

I practice Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgery

I attended USC PA Program and graduated in 2015.

1. When did you realize you wanted to pursue the PA profession?

I knew I wanted to become a PA after the first time I shadowed a PA(you)! Once I saw you in action, I knew this was the profession for me.

2. What did you find as the most difficult part of applying to PA school?

One of the most difficult parts of applying to PA school was writing my personal statement. It is not easy to write about yourself.

3. What do you enjoy most about being a PA?

That satisfaction that comes from working as a team to help patients through moments when they are really sick or in critical situations.

4. What is one piece of advice you like to give to aspiring PAs?

Do your research about different PA programs and the profession as a whole.
